 Subhash Vasamsetti is an Indian Politician Hailing from Andhra Pradesh. He represents the Ramachandrapuram assembly constituency MLA in 2024 elections. He represents Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He is the combined alliance candidate (TDP+Janasena+BJP) in the 2024 MAY 13 assembly elections held  and won by a margin of more than 26000+ votes in the 2024 election declared on June 4th. His constituency is part of DR BR Ambedkar District and overall 19 constituencies in combined East Godavari District 

He was inducted into N. Chandra Babu Cabinet in 2024 June 12 cabinet Ministers oath-taking ceremony. He holds the Portfolio of Minister for Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services (IMS) in the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet in June 2024.

These portfolios related to labor, Unorganized sector workers, employers, and their rights and facilities in their working environment, health and family's health family's health services in ESI Hospitals. 

There is a lot of work to be done for the upliftment of unorganized workers into organized sector workers and more reforms are to be done by the concerned Minister and the Department authorities

Background:

Subhash was born in a well-settled agrarian family to the father Satyam and Mother Krishnakumari, he completed graduation  in BSC from SKBR college in amalapuram and completed post-graduation in Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) CR Reddy College Eluru 2004


After completing his studies he entered into his own  Real Estate business and other businesses in Konaseema and other areas in Andhra and Telangana, He has even done social service activities with his earnings in and around Konaseema  from the last decade

Vasamsetti Subash hails from Srirampuram village in the vibrant Amalapuram mandal of Ambedkar Konaseema district, a proud member of the Settibalija community and actively participated in community activities and maintained harmonious relation with other communities in their territory. 

His upbringing in a politically active family—both parents father Satyam and mother KrishnaKumari, grandfather having served as municipal councilors in Amalapuram Municipality instilled in him a deep commitment to public service from a young age.

He married Sunitha they have 2 Daughters Twins, He is a devotee of Lord Shiva and he frequently visits SHIVA Temples and Appanapalli Temple, His Lucky Number is "4"

 Early Career:

Armed with a B.Sc. and LLB degrees, Subash’s journey into politics was shaped by his grassroots involvement. He initially served as the joint secretary of the YSRCP state youth wing, showcasing his early leadership, organizational skills, 

He contributed financially to the YCP party and local YSRCP Leaders and actively supported campaigned for local mla candidate of the Amalapuram assembly constituency  Pinipe Viswaroop in the 2019 AP assembly elections

After Amalapuram riots in May 2022 he joined hands with Pallam Raju Gandham of tdp leader in Amalapuram, and the victims of the amalapuram riots they organized a festival Raksha Bandhan and friendship day between the two rival communities Settibalija and Kapu in Amalapuram area and even included other communities in that area.

This paid way for the integration of two communities in that area and kept aside the decades-old rivalry in the Amalapuram constituency and it spread to all 7 constituencies in Konaseema district Mandapeta, Mummidivaram, Ganavaram, Razole, Kothapeta, Ramachandrapuram, Amalapuram 

Another Major development was he organized karthika Vana Samaradhana in amalapuram 2022 & 2023 it was attended by 50000 people and 1,00,000 peoples in both years respectively.

Political Journey:

Subash’s transition to the TDP came after significant events, including the Amalapuram riots, where he was victim in the riots in 2022 May he faced cases and humiliation from his own party YSRCP ruling party at that time. 

He Joined TDP in March 2024 with in 100 days he secured mla ticket from the Ramachandrapuram assembly constituency and won against his rival Pilli Surya Prakash by a margin of 26000+ votes and was inducted into cabinet by AP CM .

 It is the highest majority in the Ramachandrapuram constituency till now 2024. He got support from all the communities in the constituency to become a MLA.

 His decision proved pivotal as he quickly rose within the ranks, securing a TDP MLA ticket for Ramachandrapuram and eventually landing a position in the cabinet—all within an astonishing four months.

Vision and Commitment:

Reflecting on his rapid ascent, Subash emphasizes his dedication to leveraging his newfound platform for the betterment of his constituency and Konaseema District and beyond. He acknowledges the broad support from diverse castes in his constituency and vows to champion inclusive development initiatives.

He started SAF (Settibalija Action Force) in 2023 January and promised to donate 1 crore rupees for every two years he donated in its foundation 2023 year 1 crore rupees, it will be used to the down-trodden, poor people, poor children who cracked good marks in their exams but lack sufficient funds for their further studies and health services to needy people
